At the port of Conakry in Guinea they needed to do the paving in the area designated as the container terminal.
The solution: BF80.3 Crushing drawer. Using the MB Crusher, the customer was able to process the existing bricks down to a size of 0-3 cm (1” minus). This could then be distributed evenly across the substrate, producing a quality mix while avoiding the hassle of using vehicles.
Reduce waste volume
At Tripoli and Hong Kong airports they needed to recycle huge amounts of material without impacting operations at the airport.
The solution: In both situations, they used BF120.4 crushing drawers. In this way, they managed to reduce the waste down to the desired size. The result? The crushed material was reused as substrate at other construction sites without the transport costs and the expense of buying new raw materials.
Manoeuvring through narrow alleyways
At a harbour in Dublin, Ireland, they needed to transport a crusher to a construction site through old and narrow alleys.
The solution was to install a BF120.4 crisper drawer directly on the excavator! The machine travelled easily and got straight to work removing and retrieving waste. The material was then reused in the construction of a new 8-storey complex. In addition to no longer having to spend money on waste material, the recycled material became a source of income!
Work accurately to reduce wasted resources
At an import harbour in Japan they needed to reinforce barriers to avoid storm surges.
The solution: Thanks to the precision of MB-R800 drum cutter they were able to remove the concrete overlay to ensure that the new coating adhered properly to the old surface. This method ensured that the barrier was watertight, stable and the excess water could be drained externally.
