Incredible job sites

Every job has its obstacles, but we often find that it's possible to find simple, effective and affordable solutions with our MB Crusher products, even for the most extreme and incredible job sites. Here are a few examples:

Demolish a 16-storey building

Where:
In the centre of a major city in Japan

How:

With a BF70.2 crusher bucket, a Hitachi excavator and a crane.

Mission:

Bringing the crusher bucket to the 16th floor using a crane to recycle the reinforced concrete, without creating additional problems and continuing to demolish the building one floor at a time. The demolition waste was then thrown into a hole opened in the centre of the building to protect the surrounding area.

Results:

Time-saving material handling and significant reduction of dust and noise emissions.

Avoid transporting waste materials by helicopter

Where:
In a cabin in the Bavarian Alps, 2000 metres above sea level.

How:

Using a BF60.1 crusher bucket, an excavator and a helicopter.

Mission:

Bringing the crusher to process the demolition material on site; crushing the material on site and using it as a road base for surrounding paths. How did they bring it to the cabin when a helicopter can only carry a maximum of 1200kg (2645lb)? Some of the heavier components of the BF60.1 The crusher bucket was removed and then quickly reassembled on site.

Results:

Significant savings on both waste management and transport fees, as well as reuse of the resulting material directly on site.
