Hydraulic rake crushers

Our hydraulic brushcutters can be mounted on excavator arms, edging arms or Ilsbo 680 cutting arms. Areas of application include verge cutting along major roads, forestry roads with, for example, overgrown branches at height, power lines, ski resorts, cross-country ski trails, verges and other areas that should not be allowed to grow back. The mowing method using Ilsbo's tried-and-tested chain «tears» branches, scrub and grass growth. The advantage is that regrowth is significantly delayed compared to methods that produce clean cuts.

The L models are built light to handle long reaches. HD is a heavier model for larger carriers and tougher jobs. HDE has a centre attachment, which is an advantage when you have a rotor tilt. We also have the H130LT for use on forestry cranes. In addition, there will be a new model in 2022, the H160HDB for the really tough jobs.

The various hydraulic models are suitable for carriers that have continuous hydraulic flow from 60 to 130 litres/min and 170-260 bar pressure. Belt drive provides a longer service life and is the recommended form of drive for attachments that rotate at high speeds and are subject to impact and uneven resistance from their surroundings. Ilsbo brushcutters were the first chain brushcutters with belt drive in 1989. The belt drive is much gentler on the hydraulic motor, gears and other driveline components compared to solutions with shaft or direct drive transmissions. This simply results in smoother operation.
