Since Entrack became an importer of Kobelco in 2013, they have delivered a lot of excavators in Norway, and the growth seems to continue. So many machines have been delivered that Entrack was named Kobelco dealer of the year in Europe among 39 dealers! But it's not just standard excavators that are delivered. An excavator can be used for so many things and with a little customisation, they can meet many different customer needs.
- We work with timber handling and were looking to standardise our equipment. To this end, we had demo machines on trial where the operators of the machines gave feedback afterwards on the type of machine they thought best suited our needs. We chose Kobelco and have now ordered the third SK210SRLC machine from them," says John Ivar Strand, Operations Manager at Allskog Bio AS.
What made you choose Kobelco?
- It's about reliability, good equipment, price and comfort. And not least statements from the operators. "This is their workplace, and Kobelco really focuses on providing the best possible operator environment. In addition, the machine is perceived as very steady, which is important for us, as we have fitted a 1.5 metre stick extension. And last but not least, Entrack has affordable service agreements that give us low costs," concludes Strand.
Alf Magne Gausen, Machine Salesman at Entrack, says that they have been very well received in the market with their Kobelco machines.
- We receive feedback from customers that the overall economy of Kobelco is very good, partly because the machines are very reliable, have low consumption and that they have a very good second hand value. Kobelco's 100% is manufactured in Japan, which is also very positive for us in today's unstable world situation. The new series -7 and series -11 machines have been heavily upgraded, and with the new cabs, they are right at the top in terms of operator comfort, are very quiet, and are perceived as incredibly stable and steady machines. The new machine series also have an ‘Independent Travel System’ that gives them superb off-road manoeuvrability. "Kobelco is quite simply decent machines for decent workers," concludes Gausen with a smile.
