As far back as 1976, Entrack was established with a focus on importing wear parts for construction machinery. Since then, the company has developed into one of Norway's largest importers of wear steel for the construction industry.
We talked to Herbjørn C. Haug, Product Manager G.E.T at Entrack, about wear steel.
- We've been keen to build up knowledge about wear steel, and we've done this through painstaking work over several decades. It is not profitable for us if our customers tear up the wear steel too often. Our customers have to make money for us to make money. That's why we need to engage with our customers' challenges and find solutions to them. If customers choose the wrong steel, they can lose a lot of money. So being good advisors based on the customer's needs is very important," says Haug.
So what are your customers' experiences of Entrack's wear steel? Kjetil Tørseth at Feiring Bruk is happy to share the reason why they have chosen Entrack as their supplier.
- "There are several suppliers of wear steel in Norway, but we chose Entrack partly because they are very good at developing new products. It doesn't take long from having a product on the drawing board until it's ready to go, and they are very responsive to our input during the process. It is perceived as very unique," says Tørseth enthusiastically.
- In addition, we get a product with a longer service life and it becomes more cost-effective. Less steel is thrown in the rubbish, which is good for both the environment and the economy. Finally, I would also like to add that Entrack has a very good range of products on the shelf, which means that we as customers are assured that we get the steel delivered when we need it. Quite simply, Entrack is a serious supplier that can be trusted," concludes Tørseth.
