Policy for climate, environment and working environment

Entrack is one of Norway's largest suppliers of machinery, parts and equipment to the construction industry. Our business shall be characterised by systematic environmental work, with the aim of minimising the impact on the external environment.

We contribute sustainably by:

  • Meeting the demands of governments, customers, employees and other stakeholders
  • Make demands on and influence our suppliers with regard to their environmental impact
  • Work to reduce emissions in all departments by focusing on energy and environmental efficiency
  • Further develop the reuse department to make used parts more accessible
  • Increase expertise and raise awareness of environmental work among all employees and motivate everyone to perform their tasks in an environmentally responsible manner
  • Show transparency, inform about the company's environmental work and be sensitive to changes in the outside world

The environmental policy is followed up with specific targets:

  • Avoid damage to people, the environment and financial assets.
  • Avoid orders from authorities
  • We will have 0% work-related sick leave
  • We will have a maximum of 5% sick leave
  • Employees should feel confident in their work tasks
  • Employees should feel that they can fulfil their work tasks
  • Employees should feel that they receive sufficient feedback on the work they do.

To achieve the goals, the following measures will be implemented:

  • Ensure that we have good internal systems and introduce regular reporting
  • Begin work on sustainability reporting
  • Send supplier enquiries and requirements to our suppliers to ensure that we choose suppliers that operate sustainably and well in accordance with the Transparency Act
  • Update the risk picture and, if necessary, implement risk-reducing measures
  • Conduct an annual performance review
  • Carry out annual safety inspections
  • Implement new requirements in data protection legislation
