We would like to point out that the Norwegian authorities require all materials handling machines with a power greater than 15 kW (20.4 hp) to undergo an annual inspection by an expert organisation. This applies even if the machine is only used “privately”.

In Norway, there are around 200 companies and sole traders that are authorised to carry out this type of inspection.
